Gary Davis, President of Midstates Hay Sales, Inc. has been in the hay and dairy industry since day one, literally. His father, Merle Davis, was the owner of a beef and dairy cattle farm only 2 miles from Midstates Hay Sales headquarters. Davis grew up in the trenches, knowing and learning what it takes to increase milk production in his 1000 head dairy operation. In addition to running his dairy operation; Davis raised alfalfa and blended mixes to meet the needs of his herd. He subsequently sold the dairy side of the business and turned his focus to growing and selling alfalfa to equine and dairy establishments. His love for farming and eagerness to produce the best puts Davis at the top in his field.
